1. Scope

This privacy policy applies to the NexaRad product website and demo application. NexaRad is a radiology workflow platform in research/demo stage. It is not a clinical diagnostic product and is not cleared or authorized by the FDA or any other regulatory body for clinical use.

2. Data Collection in Demo Mode

The NexaRad demo application processes only synthetic and de-identified DICOM studies. Protected health information (PHI) uploads are blocked by default in all demo and research environments. The application does not collect, store, or process real patient data in its current demo posture.

3. Information We Collect

In demo mode, we may collect: organization and user account information (email, name, role), session and authentication data, audit logs of application actions, and de-identified DICOM metadata. We do not use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising technology in the product application.

4. How We Use Information

Information is used solely to operate the demo platform, maintain audit trails, improve the product, and communicate with authorized users. We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Application data is stored in encrypted AWS services with private networking, TLS encryption in transit, and role-based access controls. Demo environments use separate infrastructure from any future clinical environments. Security details are available on our Security page.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us at [email protected]. Demo data may be reset at any time as part of product development.

7. Not for Clinical Use

NexaRad is a research and demo platform. It is not intended for clinical diagnostic use. No clinical decisions should be made based on NexaRad outputs. All reports and exports in demo/research mode are watermarked accordingly.
